Get to Know Me

Madison Salsman, LMFT
(She/Her)
Licensed Psychotherapist (#150703)

There will be times when we need support, and reaching out for help can be a hard first step. I want to acknowledge your strength in taking that first step and honor the resilience you already possess. As you begin your therapeutic process, I’m here to walk alongside you, recognizing and supporting your journey toward growth and healing.

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Board-Certified Music Therapist, I support individuals, couples, and families facing:

  • life transitions

  • dissonance between personal values and life circumstances

  • relationship conflict

  • disconnected communication

  • challenges related to medical diagnosis

  • pediatric palliative care and hospice care

  • sibling and family support

  • end-of-life care

  • bereavement/grief

My role is to witness your experience and guide you, empowering you as the expert in your own healing process. My clinical approach is person-centered, attachment-based, and adapted to your personal circumstances and goals.

My experience as a music therapist laid the foundation for my clinical approach, where I worked with children, parents, and families receiving pediatric and neonatal intensive care to address acute, chronic, and life-limiting illness. Building upon that foundation, I have also pursued specialized training in bereavement counseling and emotion-focused therapy.

I am committed to ongoing learning to offer personalized care, integrating therapeutic modalities that expand beyond the traditional medical model and support you in becoming your own agent of change. I invite you to reach out for a consultation so we can embark on this journey together, empowering you to live authentically in all areas of life.
