Get to Know Me

Alexandra Field, MS, LMFT, MT-BC
(She/Her)
CEO, Clinical Visionary, & Licensed Psychotherapist (#99158)

I’m here to help you reconnect with the inner clarity, strength, and vitality that have always been part of you - even if they feel harder to access right now. Together, we’ll identify and gently clear whatever feels foggy, overwhelming, or stuck, so you can move forward with greater intention and self-trust.

I am an affirming, culturally responsive therapist who values inclusion, equity, and respect for each person’s lived experience. I work with individuals and families across a wide range of identities, backgrounds, and relationship structures, and I approach therapy with openness, curiosity, and care.

My work is depth-oriented and values-based. I draw from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), attachment theory, relational and family systems, cognitive-behavioral strategies, and exploration of core beliefs. Therapy with me is collaborative and reflective, with a focus on helping you align your life with what truly matters to you.

I often work with:

  • Couples exploring intimacy, communication, and long-term compatibility

  • Individuals navigating trauma, grief, or major life transitions

  • High-achieving professionals, creatives, and entrepreneurs who feel stuck, burned out, or disconnected

  • People exploring identity, neurodivergence, and how their brains and nervous systems shape their lives

  • Individuals questioning or redefining their relationship with religion, spirituality, or meaning

  • Parents seeking more connected, intentional ways to support their children or teens without repeating harmful patterns

  • People untangling long-held expectations about who they “should” be in order to step more fully into who they want to become

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Board-Certified Music Therapist. I specialize in supporting teens, adults, couples, and families with complex histories, relationships, and life experiences.

In addition to my clinical work, I am a partner, parent, leader, teacher, mentor, and visionary. I value growth, integrity, and empowerment—both in the therapy room and in the teams and communities I help lead. My approach focuses on improving communication, reducing distressing patterns and beliefs, and supporting meaningful, sustainable change rooted in each client’s personal values.

I have worked with children, teens, and adults experiencing a wide range of challenges, including anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, trauma, neurodevelopmental differences (including autism), chronic and medical conditions, grief, substance use concerns, eating disorders, and other complex mental health presentations.

I bring nearly two decades of experience in the mental health field, including work in Marriage and Family Therapy since 2012 and licensed practice as a Marriage and Family Therapist since 2017.
