What We Call This Role

We don’t just call this an “Associate Position.”
We call it our Creative Connections Associateship — because it’s more than a job.
It’s a development pathway, a community, and an investment in your future as a therapist.

Internally, you’ll hold the role title:

Associate Therapist

Externally, you’ll be known as part of our Associateship Cohort — a small, high-touch group that receives elevated support and development.

Compensation & Benefits

This is a salaried associateship designed to provide stability while you grow as a clinician. Full-time salary with a true 32-hour workweek — not the “40 that becomes 60” you see elsewhere.

Compensation:

• $65,000 per year

Benefits:

• Health, dental, and vision insurance with generous employer contribution

• 401(k) with company match

• Paid sick and vacation time

• Flexible scheduling, with some availability during high-demand hours (after school, early evenings, or limited weekends)

• Hybrid work schedule. Some in person hours at our Santa Clarita Office, but otherwise work from the comfort of your home.

• Full administrative support so you can focus on client care — billing, benefits checks, client matching, and scheduling are all handled in-house

• Consistent referrals and the ability to build a full caseload quickly

Career Growth & Support

As a member of our Associateship Cohort, you’ll have:

• Weekly individual or dyadic clinical supervision

• Weekly business mentorship with our CEO

• Consultation support from our Director & Clinical Lead

• Monthly group case consultation

• Structured onboarding and continued training opportunities

• A clear pathway to transition into a licensed Core Clinician role within our practice

Requirements

We’re looking for associates who are committed to growth and aligned with our values of creativity, connection, integrity, and empowerment.

You must have:

• Active California registration as AMFT, ACSW, or APCC

• A Master’s degree in a qualifying field

• Ability to maintain a minimum 25-client-hours/week

• Strong interpersonal skills, professionalism, and a growth mindset

Preferred (not required):

• Creative Arts Therapy training

• Prior private practice experience
